It never asks for your portal password
This is the part worth reading twice, because it's where the two tools split.
The other one asks you to type your PowerPlay username and password into their website. Their servers then sign in as you, from their building, on their internet connection. Your login sits in somebody else's database next to every other dealer who signed up.
StandbyClaim never sees it. It works inside the Chrome you're already signed into, on the computer in front of you. There's no account with us, no server, and the extension makes no network calls at all. Open the network tab and watch it stay empty. We built the release so it won't even package if somebody adds one.

Slower than a bot, on purpose
Every claim waits a random, human-length pause. We could make it instant. Making it instant is how dealers get caught.
A tool that claims in nine milliseconds isn't winning you more work. It's writing a line in somebody's server log that no human hand could have produced, sitting right next to your account name. Every enforcement story in this corner of the world starts there.
It slows down further at night. At two in the afternoon you're at the desk with the portal open, so a second or two looks like you. At three in the morning you were asleep, and a half-second claim doesn't look like a fast guy, it looks like software. So the pause stretches after hours. It costs you a couple of seconds at 3am, which happens to be the hour with almost nobody awake to race you.

It can't tell a good lead from a bad one
Your queue shows almost nothing before you claim. No tool can filter what the portal doesn't show, and anything promising otherwise is selling you a feature that can't exist.
Claiming everything isn't always winning
Leads you claim and don't close count against your close rate. A lead you let pass costs you nothing. Set the hourly limit to what you can actually work.
It can't jump your tier
If a lead hits better-ranked dealers first, it hits them first no matter what you run. This wins the race you're in, not the one above it.
Your computer has to be awake
Same as leaving yourself logged in. On a desktop that stays on, it's a non-issue. On a laptop, close the lid and it stops. You don't need a tab open, a window open, or Chrome on screen. It runs from the tray and checks every thirty seconds.

Set up in about five minutes
It's a direct download rather than a Chrome Web Store listing, so there's one extra step the first time. That also means you can read every line of what you're about to run.
- Download the extension and unzip it somewhere you won't delete by accident.
- Open chrome://extensions, switch on Developer mode top right, hit Load unpacked, and pick the folder you just unzipped.
- Sign into your dealer portal the way you always do.
- Hit Teach it, then click your claim button once. It remembers that button.
- Hit Run a safe test. It puts a practice button on the page and claims that one instead, so nothing real gets touched. Everything to this point is free.
- Open Licence, paste the key from your email, press Save licence.
- Hit Start watching. Now close the tab, close the window, and go do your job.
Because you teach it your button instead of us hard-coding it, a change to the portal is a thirty second fix on your screen instead of an outage for everybody.
